It is hard for me to believe that Helium is a site that is unbiased and fair.  It seems that I can write articles that place in the number one rank until it comes time to get paid for the article and then I mysteriously drop in rank by the amount needed to be out of the running for payment.

How could that be?  I have even noticed that the closer it gets to payment time, my stars disappear.  My rating stars have gone, my writing stars are gone which means that even for the articles I have written I may not get paid for.

The more I rate, the lower my score for rating appears, my stars disappear and rating stars determine your monthly pay.  How they can rate a rater is beyond me especially without giving the rater the means to discuss why they rated as they did.

Are there any legitimate, work from home opportunities out there?  I have tried data entry, freelance writing and survey sites but they all have a catch to them that do not allow payments to be made to you after you do the work.  That catch is choice.  They can, at their discretion and according to their rules which can be manipulated, choose not to pay you.  It’s as simple as that.

Beware of the sites you have to pay to join, because it is obvious to me that these sites are all about using.  Using you to do their work and choosing not to pay you when time comes for payment.

I deliberately rushed to write a couple of papers for Helium to see where I would rank, I rode the wave of first place until the day before the end of the contest and then I dropped slowly to seventh or eighth place which put me totally out of the running for payment.

My marketplace articles are never sold yet, when they transition back to Helium, they are rated one, two, four or whatever but never good enough to get paid for.  This makes it very hard to believe this site is unbiased and fair.  I will continue to write for them until the December 25, 2008 just to test this theory out further but I already know what the outcome will be based on my experience so far.

It’s a shame the way this internet is run with scams, lies and bad intentions but I guess it is what it is and it is allowable because the internet is full of all of the above.
